New Pediatric Therapy Job Openings occur on a daily basis. Complete the form nearby and include your resume to find out how the possibilities are endless!

Lisa, an industry Business Development and Talent Acquisition professional, provides valuable and quick tips when it comes to applying for a job.

Tip 1 – Make sure that when you’re using a third party application system, that you upload your resume in a PDF format, without your knowledge, most third party application systems take your email address and they replace it with one that moves through their system. So when an employer tries to reach you, you may be getting the note, but you may not be receiving things like downloads or documents that that employer is hoping for, that you took to complete and return to them.

Tip 2 – Make sure that your employer has a really good work life balance. We all have other roles. I’m a wife and a mom and a friend. We wear those hats and we need to wear those hats. That’s the fun part of life. So you want to make sure that when you are applying for a position that the employer, that you’re working with really understands that and is willing to really be with you for the long haul. I’ve been here for about 12 years. So as you can imagine, I’ve raised my kids with this company. It’s really nice to know that my employer understands that and is willing to help me and work with me through those situations. Anything that might come up.

Tip 3 – The third thing would be the noncompete or nondisclosure that you will sign with most companies. Make sure that when you’re signing that noncompete, that you are not prohibited from marketing yourself or accepting other employment, part of a healthy work life balance means that there may be times when you need to supplement your income. You want to make sure that you aren’t signing something that will prohibit you from doing so. And you know, you’re, you’re happy with your current employer, but you want to make sure that you can pick something else up if needed.

Tip 4 – And this could be the most important! Make sure to check your “Promotions” folder when using popular email platforms like Gmail.

Those are my quick tips. Of course, we are open for any types of questions you may have. You can also send your resume to us using the form near by.
