The team here at Metro South Lyon are simply amazing. My step son was going here for PT, OT and speech therapy services. The progress that he made in the short amount of time there was incredible. All the ladies are top notch. They made sure to listen to all of our concerns, no matter how small or silly they seemed. They made a plan of care that they thought would best serve our son and made sure we were okay with it. I would absolutely recommend 10/10

My experience with Metro EHS has been nothing short of outstanding. My son has a complex learning disability, and instead of shying away, they stepped in with compassion and dedication. They’ve been incredible partners—working closely with me, my son, and his school to advocate for the tools he needs to succeed. We’ve attended two different facilities, and both have been clean, well-organized, and filled with staff who clearly love what they do and genuinely care for their clients. I cannot recommend Metro EHS enough and would gladly encourage anyone in need of support to turn to them.

By far the absolute best therapy place out there! I have a medically complex daughter and had a hard time finding anyone willing to work with her that was comfortable with her having a trach. Not only were they quick to getting her in and established, they were the first therapists to actually push her and know that she is capable of more. We have seen such immense progress already. Not to mention the staff has been so sweet and accommodating to my other children when I don’t have childcare. Amanda and Carrie treat my daughter like their own and we all love coming to therapy days. All the staff here are beyond friendly and amazing at what they do. Cannot recommend them enough!

My currently 3-year-old son has received Speech, OT, and PT at Metro EHS–South Lyon, over the past two years. I honestly can't say enough good things about the care he’s received. From the very beginning, the team has treated us like family! They genuinely listen to my input, work with me to set meaningful and realistic goals, and consistently offer creative, practical strategies I can use at home. Their collaboration and compassion have helped me feel confident and empowered as a parent. Most importantly, my son loves going. The therapists make each session fun and engaging, and because of their dedication and expertise, he has made tremendous progress. The growth I’ve seen in him is a direct reflection of their hard work and heart. Metro EHS–South Lyon is more than a therapy center — it's a community of people who care deeply. I’m so grateful to have found a place that supports my son’s development and supports me as a parent. We are truly lucky to have them on our team.

This place is so amazing! They have helped my little girl out so much. I'd recommend to everyone 100%. All the faculty is very nice. Answer any questions you have any time of day. Very thankful and grateful for them!! My daughter can now speak sentences and tell us her wants and needs.

ABOUT

South Lyon

A Stunning Place to Live or Work

You can find South Lyon situated about 30 miles northwest of Detroit in the southwest portion of Oakland County. The city is home to approximately 11,000 people and offers a unique blend of urban and rural charm.

South Lyon’s rich history dates back to the early 19th century, when it was first settled by European pioneers. Since then, the city has undergone many changes to become the thriving community it is today.

Today, South Lyon is home to several parks, including the popular South Lyon Woods Nature Preserve, which offers hiking trails and opportunities to view local wildlife. A short stroll during any time of year will give you the opportunity to see countless wildlife species, from birds and rabbits to deer, squirrels, and more.

Several local lakes, including Kent Lake and South Lake, offer opportunities for swimming, boating, and other water sports. Active visitors and residents can enjoy cycling along the Huron Valley Rail Trail, a popular path that was converted from a rail line to a scenic pedestrian and bike route.

South Lyon is also home to a number of community events, including the annual South Lyon Street Art Fair. This event celebrates the city’s innovative and creative minds and provides a convenient excuse to explore delectable nearby dining fare. During the fall, you can also enjoy the South Lyon Pumpkinfest, an annual celebration with games, activities, contests, food, and a parade.

Needless to say, the town is a fantastic place for families, with many recreation and entertainment options all year long. But South Lyon wouldn't be the thriving community it is without its local small businesses and service providers.

Overall, South Lyon is a charming and welcoming community with a strong sense of history and a bright future. It is a great place to live, work, and raise a family, and it has something to offer for people of all ages and interests.
